Established in the late 1980s, Dogwood Grove is a beautiful neighborhood located in the northeast corner of Germantown. Dogwood Grove offers large lots with multi-story homes, and is close to several parks and schools. 

Several of the homes found in Dogwood Grove lie along Germantown’s 20+ mile paved greenway. The greenway runs along the Wolf River and links residents to the many shops and restaurants of Germantown. 

An interesting feature of Dogwood Grove is the optional homeowners association. For a small annual fee, the association provides maintenance to each of the neighborhood entrances, keeps its residents informed with a monthly newsletter, and offers fantastic opportunities to engage with neighbors through organized social events. While membership is encouraged and recommended, it is completely voluntary. 

Glenalden

Centered around a beautiful 18 acre fishing lake stocked with catfish, bream, and bass, Glenalden is a small community of 127 lots. With residents of all ages, it is a fantastic neighborhood for everyone from growing families to retirees. 

Of the 94-acres this planned development sits on, 45-acres are common ground, owned by the residents of Glenalden. This offers a true resort lifestyle to all that call it home.

Two neighborhood swimming pools are available to both the residents of Glenalden as well as their accompanied guests. Located on an island in the middle of the private lake, the pool area is accessible by bridge from the parking area, and also by boat. 

In addition, there are lighted tennis courts located right inside the Glenalden front gates, as well as a multi-purpose court at the back of the property. While the front courts are for tennis only, the multi-purpose court offers basketball goals and an open area suited for everything from lacrosse to a game of catch. All residents under the age of 12 require adult accompaniment to utilize the front court for tennis. There is no supervision requirement for the multi-purpose court.  

Grove Park

Conveniently located in the eastern corner of Germantown, and straddling both sides of Wolf River Boulevard, Grove Park was established in 2000. This community offers multi-story homes on large lots, and is close to both schools and parks. 

Amenities here include a community pool and clubhouse. The homeowners association maintains these features, along with the neighborhood entrances. Social activities for all ages, quarterly newsletters, and a neighborhood directory are provided by the association as well. Bi-annually the neighborhood hosts a community yard sale.

Landsdowne Place

A high end, zero lot line community, Landsdowne Place consists of 81 homes ranging in size from 2,700 to 3,400 sq ft. Established in 2002, this neighborhood is conveniently located off of Wolf River Boulevard.

Landsdowne Place offers a pond surrounded by trees, along with a nature park that several of the homes overlook. The park includes a walking trail and park benches to relax and take in the beautiful views while you watch the ducks and other water fowl that inhabit the community. 

In the center of the development you’ll find Landsdowne Green. This private park is perfect for a day of socializing with neighbors, enjoying picnics with the family, or simply relaxing with a good book. Each year in June and October the The Landsdowne Homeowners Board hosts community picnics open to all residents.

Farmington Meadows

Farmington Meadows is a diverse community boasting a wide array of residents varying in background, age, and nationality. Founded in 1975, today the neighborhood is home to 209 residences. 

Among the many amenities offered here are separate adult and child pools, two tennis courts, and a playground. In addition there is a covered pavilion and clubhouse facilities for social gatherings. All facilities are available for the general use, or can be rented for private events such as birthday parties for a small fee.

The homeowners association at Farmington Meadows works diligently to ensure a high quality of life for all the residents. Common areas are well maintained and kept clean, and the association organizes several events throughout the year to encourage community togetherness.
